Marketing & Advertising Design
As a nonprofit organization, marketing and advertising can be done by inviting others to attend and participate in events. This way, they can learn about the organization's mission and values and become interested in joining, either by getting involved or providing financial support.
Fundraising Invitation
This postcard design was intended to serve as an invitation to a support-raising event.
The front features an announcement, a photograph from the organization, and the logo.
On the back is the event's title, a brief description of the event and its location, date, and time, as well as information on how to RSVP. As a postcard, there was also space on the back to include the recipient's address and a stamp.
Overall, the design aimed to arouse interest in the organization and encourage people to get involved.
This is a valid way to market and advertise because it announces a specific event that will spark people's interest in joining an organization or company.
Anniversary Announcement
In honor of the organization's 70th anniversary, there was a lot of work to do to inform, promote and attract new members.
Firstly, a special emblem was needed to mark this milestone year. While previous anniversary designs brought inspiration, this emblem ultimately combined the organization's icon with the number 70 to make a bold statement.
Next, the icon, logo, and celebration were all merged together.
From here, there was a need to create posts announcing the significance of the year for use in emails or on social media.
At first, there were several old photographs that could be used to signify the age of the organization.
There was also the idea of using a recent picture and combining it with an old one to symbolize the age change but within the same organization.
The preferred method was to combine the new emblem with a classic picture, but this created many options as well.
These ended up being the final posts, one with a key classic image and another with a combination of the current and classic image, but both with the new emblem.
Lastly, “Save the Date” was needed to go in emails, and on a postcard to give out and remind people of the event that was to come.
All these items were used to mark a significant occasion for the organization. They were hoping to receive recognition from others for reaching this milestone and to ask for support to continue the organization's work.
